Dear SMIC Students,
Greetings from SMIC Team!

We hope you are all keeping safe, healthy, and energetic, and you study, life and job are all going well.

Today is already Monday Week 4 of Term 3 2024. For many, the 2nd unit of the term has started; for others, this is an important week for preparing due assessments.

This is why SMIC team has set Week 4 as the first checking point of each Term for students to review study progress of the term.

Have you been keeping your study pace and learning motivation? Have you been consciously arranging your study time? Have you been spontaneously attending lectures and tutorials of your study units? Have you started to do your assessments? Have you missed any assessment due dates?

Always remember, useful knowledge and outstanding academic results will not simply, automatically, or accidentally happen, but serious efforts need to be taken!

Also, again, we would like to use this email as a gentle reminder that in early 2023, many students submitted assessments through emails, however, after SMIC Learning Management System, Moodle, was fully installed and rolled out, SMIC Team has spared no effort to urge students to re-submit all previous assessments to Moodle to allow trainers to record your assessments’ marks in Moodle.
However, till now SMIC team is still waiting for some students to do the re-submission.

Now SMIC Team would like to urge our lovely students again that if you have NOT yet re-submitted your previous assessments to Moodle, please do it as soon as possible.

Without a completed and compliant assessment record in Moodle, SMIC Team is NOT able proceed with a student’s graduation, neither issue a certificate.

Ø If you have been submitting your assessments to Moodle and have been receiving all satisfactory results, please ignore this message.

Ø If you are NOT sure about the Moodle submission of your previous assessments and you need help from SMIC Team, please contact support@smic.edu.au, and SMIC Team can check for you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Happy Study!
